Led by Angie Buxton-King, this course is a suitable introduction for healers wishing to work as therapists within a statutory setting or for those who wish to have a better understanding of what is required of therapists within a hospital setting.
An overview of some of the material the course will cover:
* How to prepare, approach and present yourself to hospitals successfully
* How to describe CT to conventional medics and nursing staff
* What language can we as therapists usefully use?
* Simple Anatomy
* Working with seriously ill adults and children within a hospital setting
* Infection Control
* Practical sessions on how to adapt your therapy within a hospital setting.
* Working successfully within a multi disciplined team
* The importance of VSR and clinical supervision
